300 years anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy
Magtymguly Pyragy comes to mind when we think of an artistic character with loyalty, love, lyricism, and patriotism characteristic of Turkmen. He is prudent, determined and wise. There is no doubt that he is a master poet, that is, the singing of his poems for three centuries, the use of his philosophies in the education of generations, and the depiction of them in works of art by artists are a clear proof of this.
As we all know, the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Pyragy, the great thinker of the East, our classic poet, is a happy event. On the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the classical poet's wedding, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Azerbaijan together with the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan and the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan recently organized a scientific-practical conference entitled "Magtymguly Pyragy - an outstanding poet of world literature" and organized a creative exhibition. In the exhibition organized as part of the conference, the works of the classical poet of Turkmen literature, Magtymguly Pyragy, created in visual arts were presented.
Those who spoke during the conference highly appreciated the importance of this event dedicated to Magtymguly Pyrag, who wished for the peace and unity of the Turkmen people.
The Turkmen people are very happy that the 300th anniversary of the great Magtymguly Pyragy will be marked with a grand ceremony under the leadership of our Heroic Serdar, the President of Turkmenistan, who continues the guidance of our Hero Arkadag in our independent, permanent neutral state of Turkmenistan.
