Turkmen alabai national pride and heritage
The Turkmen people have a rich cultural heritage and
values of history that have given a perfect heritage to the cultural values of the world. Among them, the value of Turkmen alabai is more valuable. Alabai is considered to be a faithful companion of a person and it is contemplate as a carelessness that can overcome several wolves.
Such a rich history and valuable heritage of the Turkmen people certainly finds it's rightful place in the history of the world today. Great work is being done in the country to preserve our values and spread their reputation to the world.
Consultations, exhibitions and other international events related with alabais are regularly held in the country. This is evidenced by the fact that the last Sunday of October is celebrated as the Turkmen Alabai Day. In connection with this holiday, on October 27 in 2022, with the participation of teachers and students of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, carpet makers, painters, sculptors, photographers will participate in the artistic expression of the appearance of Turkmen alabai in works of applied and decorative arts, in publications, photographs. The winners of this competition were given valuable gifts by the trade union of Turkmenistan and the youth organization named after Magtymguly. The creativity of the participants who won and received the motivational award are different from each other, and in them you can see the respect and love of the artists for the Turkmen value and their profession. The
continuous holding of such creative contests allows for the enrichment of the art and culture of the Turkmen people, even if the values remain.
