The Fund of U.S. Ambassador for Cultural Preservation held a live video conference
On December 14, 2022 year, during the establishment of the US Embassy in Turkmenistan, with representatives of relevant ministries and government departments of Turkmenistan who are invited to participate in the next call for projects for 2023 under the US Embassy Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) program, the meeting was held live video communications. The event was attended by teachers and students of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan. During the meeting, the requirements of two new directions in the proposed projects from this year were announced. The first of the requirements is to ensure public participation in the proposed projects, and the second is to prevent the damage caused by climate change. During the meeting, the participants were informed that the deadline for the implementation of the projects was extended until January 4, 2023. It was also said that there is an opportunity to exchange ideas through mutual questions and answers before submitting proposed projects. It was clarified in detail that no further changes could be made after the adoption of the drafts. In addition, it was noted that the intangible aspects of the proposed projects should be taken into account. The meeting continued with questions and answers from representatives of relevant ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
