Jewelry and applied arts are the heritage of the people of the world
On October 12-14, 2022, "The Epoch of the People with Arkadag", the international festival "Crafts and applied arts in the heritage of the peoples of the world" was held at a high level in Lebap province of the country. Master artists and representatives of practical art from Turkmenistan, South Korea, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Iran-Islamic Republic participated in this festival. The creative exhibition showcased the culture and art of the countries through their handicrafts. In other words, the artistic features, color harmony, and performance magic of the products of applied art became more effective. The presentation of national costumes, which took place within the framework of the festival, aroused great interest in all the spectators. In particular, at the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan, an excellent exhibition was organized in areas such as carpet weaving, jewelry, and ceramics, which are practical arts taught to young people. A scientific-practical conference was held as part of the international festival. The lectures of the teachers of the Academy of Arts were performed at this meeting. However, it should be noted that the performances of the people of the world are very effective and have a high level of obtaining valuable information. The festival held at the international level strengthened the friendship of the countries of the world and created great opportunities for mutual exchange of experience. We would like to express our gratitude to the President of the Republic of Turkmenistan, who created great opportunities to spread the Turkmen practical art to the world.
