A ceremony was held on the occasion of the International Day of Elders
During the Revival of the new era of stable state, under the leadership of our Commander-in-Chief, special attention is paid to the development of the education system along with all other systems. Therefore, it is an important issue to educate young people who are knowledgeable and loyal to our fatherland. Respecting the elderly is our ancestral national tradition. We always attach great importance to such wonderful traditions in our state of Turkmenistan.
The International Elders' Day is also celebrated in a highly organized manner in our country. In this regard, on 30th of September in 2022, in the conference hall of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, a solemn event was held on the occasion of the International Day of the Elderly together with the Bakhtyarlyk Etrap Board of the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly.
Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan, Honorary Doctor of the State Art Academy of Turkmenistan Babasary Annamyradov, Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan, Artist of Turkmenistan, Master Sculptor Saragt Babaev, winner of the Magtymguly International Award, Honorary Elder Charyyarov Ashir and Honorable Mother Ogulgul Annageldieva took part in this festive ceremony.
At this festive meeting, the award-winning elders told young students interesting stories about their career and life experience. This gave a great incentive to educate the youth in a more patriotic spirit. At the end of the celebration, the gifts of the Art Academy and the Youth Organization of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly were presented to the elders who participated in the event.
