Painting poetry of Kamil Veliakhmedov
The works of Kamil Veliakhmedov, a famous artist of Turkmenistan, who loves the beauty of Turkmen nature, its magical colors and the miracle of air, are very beautiful. For K.Veliakhmedov, art is always a means to an end. In a cold winter, in a scorching summer heat, working with him in the bosom of wildlife is what an artist needs.
The artist's childhood ended early, and by the will of fate he was accustomed to work tirelessly from a young age. Anatoly Ryabov, a teacher at the Children's Art School in Turkmenabat, was the first to awaken in him a love of art. In 1973, K. Veliakhmedov entered the Turkmen State Art School named after Rustaveli (now the Turkmen State Special Art School at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan) in the capital. Her first mentors were the leading teacher Gulya Melaeva and the People's Artist of Turkmenistan Annadurdy Almammedov. Even in his student years, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Durdy Bayramov teaches Kamil the basics of his experience of understanding the importance of painting.
Today Kamil Veliakhmedov, a bright representative of the Turkmen landscape, skillfully tries to convey the constantly changing image of wildlife, like the famous French impressionists Pissarro, Monet, Cezanne. In his works, the artist acts as a creative person who feels the harmony of man and nature with all his heart. Kamil Velakhmedov enriches the Sumbar and Aydere valleys, the beautiful corners of our beloved land, the village of Gerkez, the foothills of the Kopetdag, the excitement of the Amu Darya, the tranquility of the Karakum desert, the unique landscapes of Koytendag with their unique and magical colors. In the artist's landscapes: «Village» (1995), «Garaul Village» (2013), «Flowers» (2012), «Legend» (2012), «Kopetdag» (2012), «Khazar» (2012), the unique beauty of nature is organically combined with the thrill of the artist. The rapid transitions of nature in the works, the play of shining rays of the sun and the subtle combination of colors in the air allow viewers to experience pleasant sensations.
Among the portraits of the artist's creative heritage are «Portrait of Annadurdy Myradaliev» (2017), «Portrait of Juma Amandurdyev» (2017), «Portrait of Muhammad Agha» (2017), compositions related to our cultural heritage «Dehistan» (1998), «Revival» (2007) and works dedicated to our Akhal-Teke horses, such as «Independence» (2003), «Heavenly Horses» (2009), «On the Road» (2005). In all works, one can clearly feel the excitement of the artist's creative searches, the principle of preserving the sweat of colors and awakening pleasant sensations.
