Creative tour of the USA
From September 26 to October 6, 2023, Zakirjan Babaev, a student-teacher of the Department of Painting of the Faculty of Fine Arts of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, and Durdymuhammet Pirov, a 5th year student of the same faculty, will visit Washington and New York, USA. -They attended an internship for young artists organized in Santa Fe, Mexico. During the first half of September 28, 2023, there was an audio tour of the National Art Gallery. On the same day, a tour of Philip's collection at the National Gallery of Art was organized. On September 29, 2023, they were presented to the National Portrait Gallery and the Museum of American Art.
On September 30, 2023, they visited Washington, D.C. and Santa Fe, New Mexico. During the first half of October 1, 2023, there was an audio tour of the George O'Keeffe Museum. That same day they went to the New Mexico Museum of Art. In the first half of October 2, 2023, they took a close look at the Mark Larry Fine Art Gallery along with American artist Ms. Amy Erickson. On the afternoon of October 2, 2023, they visited the Nedra Gallery, as well as several other galleries. Early on the morning of October 3, 2023, they set off for Taos. In the afternoon, a member of the plein air group “PAPA” shared his experience of working in the studio of the famous American artist Kevin McPherson. On October 4, 2023, they visited the house-museum of Taos artist Nikolai Feshin, held an outdoor photo shoot and a question and answer session with the PAPA plein air group. On October 5, 2023, a master class was held in the studio of American artist Chris Mariella, a member of the plein air group PAPA.
