Congratulations to the master of Turkmen sculpture Babasary Annamuradov with his 80th birthday!
National Artist of Turkmenistan, Honorary Doctor of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan Babasary Annamuradov, who created images of historical figures, artists and cultural figures in Turkmen sculpture, as well as works reflecting the life of the people, celebrated his 80th birthday.
B.Annamuradov was born on November 15, 1941 in the village of Yarygokche, Tejen district, Akhal velayat. He studied sculptural art between 1958-1963 at the Shota Rustaveli Turkmen State Art School (now the Turkmen State Art School at the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan) under the master-mentor A. Shchetinin. To improve his education in 1965, he entered the Theater and Art Institute. A.N. Ostrovsky in Tashkent and successfully graduated in 1970. During her creative career, the teacher has repeatedly participated in state and international exhibitions and disseminated Turkmen art around the world. For this he was awarded by the state with numerous orders and medals, honorary titles and prizes.
B.Annamuradov, as a master who inspired Turkmen sculpture, expresses the spiritual culture and secular views of the Turkmen people with tender and artistic feelings. This allows the viewer to travel to the wonderful world of characters created by the master of the show. An example of this is «Poet» (1987), «Veteran» (1987), «Woman with a headscarf. Abat» (1987).
In the first years of Independence, a period of great success began in the work of a mentor. An artistic guide to the work of Turkmen sculptors who created monumental statues around the House of Independence, opened in Ashgabat on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of Independence, in the images of five thousand-year-old Turkmen historical figures and classic poets.
Through the efforts of the President, the master sculptor himself took an active part in the work of sculptures of great historical personalities of the Turkmen people, installed in the Inspiration Park in the center of Ashgabat. Among the statues in the park are the statues of Dovletmammet Azadi (2010) and Gurbannazar Ezizov (2010), created by B.Annamuradov.
An experienced sculptor, he has been working as a senior lecturer in the sculpture department of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan since 2013 and has trained many of his students.
Babasary Annamuradov, an outstanding master of Turkmenistan, made a worthy contribution to the spread of Turkmen art throughout the world, drawing inspiration from the historical pages of the Turkmen people, rural life and national values.
