International exhibition "Design - 2022"

During the Revival of the new age of a stable state, the great developments of the country under the wise leadership of the President are written in golden letters in our history. Great work is being done to develop our capital Ashgabat into one of the most beautiful and livable cities in the world. The white marble buildings of our Ashgabat city are known in the world as the city of creativity and the pearl city of Asia, with their architectural construction, beautiful appearance adorning our land. Ashgabat is a place of many top attractions.

     The Ashgabat forum and international exhibition "Design-2022" was held in the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan on October 11-13, 2022. The Ashgabat City Hall, the Ministries of Education, Culture, Textile Industry, Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan, the Secretariat of the National Committee of Turkmenistan on UNESCO, the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs took an active part in this exhibition.

     The Ashgabat forum and international exhibition "Design-2022" was held at a high level with the participation of representatives of the United States, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, the Republic of Turkey, and the Republic of Kazakhstan. The goal of the international exhibition was to introduce Ashgabat to the network of creative cities of UNESCO in the direction of "Design". However, the importance of this exhibition is very high in establishing mutual cooperation between national and international designers and creative masters and in exchanging mutual experience.

    At the international exhibition, the master teachers of the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan and the talented young students created wonderful works that reflect the new architectural image of our White City, Ashgabat. The art works that revealed the national spiritual world and cultural heritage of our people in the fields of visual arts such as painting, sculpture, architecture, design, jewelry, and ceramics attracted the attention of the participants of the exhibition. In particular, about the design decorations of the projects of national architectural works created by our students, Dilmurod Umarov, head of the construction department of Bektemir etrap administration of Tashkent city of the Republic of Uzbekistan, specialist of the methodological organization and supply department of Mirobod etrap public educational institutions, Aziz Nabiev, they shared experiences through a mutual question and answer session with the teachers of the art academy.

    The harmony of nationalism and modernity is formed in new architectural projects created by young students. Our national patterns, which have been artistically cultivated since ancient times, enrich the beauty of buildings. This proves that the love of Turkmen youth for their homeland and their high dedication to their chosen profession is evident in the creativity of Turkmen youth.
